Villeny is a French village with 493 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement Romorantin-Lanthenay and the canton Chambord (until 2015: canton Neung-sur-Beuvron ).

Villeny is located about 22 kilometers east-northeast of Blois in the Sologne . Villeny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ligny-le-Ribault in the north, Yvoy-le-Marron in the east, La Marolle-en-Sologne in the south and south-east, Montrieux-en-Sologne in the south, Dhuizon in the west and south-west and La Ferté- Saint-Cyr to the west and northwest.
