La Chapelle-Montmartin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villefranche-sur-Cher in the north, Saint-Julien-sur-Cher in the east, Saint-Loup and Anjouin in the south-east, Dun-le-Poëlier in the south, Chabris in the west and Gièvres in the north-west .
