Courmemin is located about 28 kilometers east-southeast of Blois and about 49 kilometers south-southwest of Orléans in the Sologne countryside . Courmemin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bauzy in the north, Vernou-en-Sologne in the east, Veilleins in the south and south-east, Mur-de-Sologne in the south and west and Fontaines-en-Sologne in the west and north-west.
