Alfred Wieser

Alfred Wieser (born June 15, 1956 in Klagenfurt ) is a former Austrian FIFA referee.

Wieser began his career as a referee in the Bundesliga with the game SK VOEST Linz - First Vienna FC on September 17, 1982. In the period from 1982 to the final game in 1996, Wieser directed 170 Bundesliga games, and from 1991 he was responsible for 20 international games Pipes. A highlight and an award for his refereeing work was the division in the women's European Championship final in Italy in 1993 at the match between Norway and Italy.

Since the end of his international refereeing career, Wieser has continued to be fully active as a referee and spokesman for the Klagenfurt referee group in the context of Carinthian football.
