Couffy (until 1998: Couffi ) is a French municipality with 497 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Romorantin-Lanthenay and the Canton of Saint-Aignan .

geography

Couffy is about 38 kilometers south-southeast of Blois . The Cher limits the municipality in the north, into which the Fouzon flows here. Couffy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Noyers-sur-Cher in the north and northwest, Châtillon-sur-Cher in the north and northeast, Meusnes in the east, Lye in the south, Châteauvieux in the west and southwest and Seigy in the west.
