Faverolles-sur-Cher is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montrichard in the north, Saint-Julien-de-Chédon in the east, Céré-la-Ronde in the south, Saint-Georges-sur-Cher in the west and Chissay-en-Touraine in the north-west.
