Bourré is a village and a former French community with 654 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Blois and the Canton of Montrichard .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the previously independent municipalities of Montrichard and Bourré were merged into a Commune nouvelle with the name Montrichard Val de Cher and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Montrichard.

Bourré is located about 24 kilometers south-southwest of Blois am Cher between Tours and Vierzon .
