Tupoutoʻa ʻUlukalala , in long form Siaosi Manumataongo ʻAlaivahamamaʻo ʻAhoʻeitu Konstantin Tukuʻaho (born September 17, 1985 in Nukuʻalofa ) is the Crown Prince of Tonga . He is the eldest son of King Tupou VI. and Queen Nanasipauʻu Tukuʻaho and known as Crown Prince Tupoutoʻa of Tonga since March 18, 2012 .

Life

The Crown Prince and his wife have two children, Taufaʻahau Manumataongo (born May 10, 2013 in Auckland , New Zealand ) and Halaevalu Mata'aho (born July 12, 2014 ibid).

Controversial wedding

Tupoutoʻa ʻUlukalala married his second cousin, Sinaitakala Fakafanua, on July 12, 2012. 2000 invited guests attended the wedding. His wife is 26th in line to the throne of Tonga .

The wedding has led to another controversial dispute about arranged marriage (sometimes also forced marriage ) between the Tongan nobility .
