Turas
The Turas is a large, toothed sprocket to drive or guide the crawler belt on tracked vehicles or the bucket chain of bucket chain excavators . Depending on the intended use, a distinction is made between the drive turas , which transfers the propulsive force from the gearbox to the chain , and the guide turas , which give the chain the necessary guidance at the opposite end. In contrast to the drive turas that are rigidly fixed on the drive shaft, the guide turas is usually mechanically or hydraulically resilient to provide the required tension to regulate the chain.
