Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud ( Arabic تركي بن ​​عبد الله بن عبد العزيز آل سعود, DMG Turkī b. ʿAbd Allaah b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl Saʿūd ; * October 21, 1971 ) is the seventh son of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz , who ruled Saudi Arabia from 2005 until his death in 2015 and is a member of the House of Saud. He was Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province from 2013 to 2014 and Governor of Riyadh Province from May 14, 2014 to January 29, 2015. He was one of the eleven princes Mohammed bin Salman had imprisoned in November 2017 as part of his fight against corruption . Among other things, he is said to have used his influence to award contracts to his own companies in the Riyadh subway project . He was still in custody at the beginning of November 2018.
