Turners Island LLC
The Turners Iceland LLC ( AAR reporting marks : TI) is a US-based marshalling -Eisenbahngesellschaft at the Port of South Portland . The route network is 2 miles long and was formerly part of the Portland Terminal Company network . The rail company is part of the privately owned port facilities on Turner's Island. In addition to the ship-rail loading option, the rail connection to a warehouse complex and an industrial park will be established. The connection to the rest of the rail network is via the Rigby Yard of Pan Am Railways .
The company was founded in 2003 as the successor to the Turners Island Railroad .
