Angelika Scholz

Angelika Scholz (born August 10, 1945 in Rotenburg an der Fulda ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from school, Ms. Scholz trained as an advertising designer from 1963 to 1966 and worked in this profession until 1969. Angelika Scholz is Catholic, married and has one child.

politics

She has been a member of the CDU since 1973, where she has been a member of the state board of the CDU Hessen since 1998 and a member of the presidium of the CDU Hessen since 2001. Ms. Scholz has been state chairwoman of the Hessen Women's Union since 2000 .

In terms of local politics, she has been active as a member of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district council since 1977 and as a member of the State Welfare Association of Hesse from 1989 to 1997 . From 1997 to 2001 she was chairman of the district parliamentary group.

Ms. Scholz has been a member of the Hessian state parliament ( constituency: 10 - Rotenburg ) since July 6, 1995, and has been the deputy chair of the sub-committee for financial and administrative control since April 5, 2003, as well as a member of the council of elders, main committee, budget committee and executive committee. In the state elections in Hesse in 2009 , she was unable to win a mandate and left the state parliament.
