The Twin Pinnacles (mutatis mutandis translated from English twin peaks ) are 22 m high clip rock with two peaks in the archipelago of South Shetland Islands . On the west side of the entrance to King George Bay , Lions Rump rises 160 m northeast of the headland .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1937 and gave it its descriptive name.
