Twlc y Filiast
Twlc y Filiast ( German "the pigsty of the greyhound" - also called Arthur's Table, Bwrdd Arthur, Ebenezer or Twlc Filiast) is located on the banks of a small stream in the hamlet of Llangynog near St Clears in Carmarthenshire in Wales .
Three small U-shaped supporting stones are roughly in situ and a rolled cap stone is almost vertical next to it.
The first classification of the approximately 125 surviving Cotswold-Severn tombs from 220 was made by John Thurnam in 1869. He distinguished between megalithic systems with simple box-like chambers at the end of the long hill, those with subdivided chambers ( English transepted chambers ) and those with multiple chambers that are accessible from the hill sides. Twlc y Filiast, like Gwal y Filiast , can be the remainder of a Cotswold Severn Tomb of the simple type.
Twlc y Filias is a Scheduled Monument .
