Lists on the subject

The Type-80 ASM-1 is an airborne anti-ship missile used by the Japanese Self- Defense Forces for coastal defense.

In use, however, it was shown that it can be used not only against ships, but also against land targets such as buildings, bridges and vehicles. The ASM-1 is equipped with a solid rocket motor. The target is registered by means of an active radar.

A whole family of anti-ship missiles was developed from the ASM-1.
