Thermi ( Greek Θέρμη ( f. Sg. )), Formerly Sedes ( Greek Θέρμη ), is a municipality in the regional district of Thessaloniki in Central Macedonia in Greece . According to the 2011 census, the municipality southeast of Thessaloniki has 53,201 inhabitants, the eponymous city of Thermi 16,004. The Noesis Science Museum is located in Thermi. The Thermaic Gulf , part of the Northwest Aegean, was named after the city of Thermi.

structure

The municipality of Thermi was formed in 2010 from three former municipalities, which today form the municipal districts of Mikra, Thermi and Vasilika. The municipality of Thermi itself is divided into the districts of Thermi, Nea Redestos, Neo Rysio and Tagarades.
