Iraklia ( Greek Ηράκλεια ( f. Sg. )) Has been a municipality in the northern Greek region of Central Macedonia since 2011 . The parish is divided into three parish districts. The administrative seat is the city of the same name Iraklia .

The municipality of Iraklia occupies an area of 451,499 km² in the northeast of the Central Macedonia region . Neighboring communities are Kilkis in the west, Sindiki in the north, Serres in the east and Visaltia and Langadas in the south.
Administrative division
The municipality was formed in 2010 after the administrative reform in 2010 from the merger of the municipalities of Iraklia , Skotoussa and Strymoniko . The administrative seat of the municipality is Iraklia . Since then, the former municipalities have formed the three municipal districts and are further subdivided into one urban district and 20 local communities.
