Sindiki ( Greek Σιντική ( f. Sg. )) Has been a municipality in the northern Greek region of Central Macedonia since 2011 . The parish is divided into six parish districts. The administrative seat is Sidirokastro . It is named after the ancient Macedonian city of Herakleia Sintike .

The municipality of Sindiki is located in the northeast of the Central Macedonia region on the state border with North Macedonia and Bulgaria . Adjacent municipalities are Serres and Iraklia to the south and Kilkis to the southwest and west .
Administrative division
The municipality was formed after the administrative reform in 2010 from the merger of the former municipalities of Kerkini, Petrisi and Sidirokastro and the rural municipalities of Angistro, Achladochori and Promachonas. The administrative seat of the municipality is Sidirokastro . Since then, the former municipalities and rural communities have formed the six municipal districts. The community is further subdivided into 3 city districts and 23 local communities.
