Neapoli-Sykies ( Greek Νεάπολη-Συκιές ( f. Sg. ) - ( f. Pl. )) Is a municipality in the Greek region of Central Macedonia . It was formed on the occasion of the administrative reform in 2010 from the merger of four municipalities. The administrative seat is Sykies .
location
The municipality of Neapoli-Sykies borders on Thessaloniki in the north . While Neapoli, Sykies and Agios Pavlos connect seamlessly to the development of Thessaloniki, Pefka is north of the Seich Sou forest . Neighboring communities are Pylea-Chortiatis in the east, Pavlos Melas in the north and Ambelokipi-Menemeni in the west.
Administrative division
The municipality Neapoli-Sykies was formed on the occasion of the administrative reform 2010 from the amalgamation of the municipalities Agios Pavlos , Neapoli , Sykies and the rural municipality Pefka , these have since formed the four municipal districts. The administrative seat is Sykies.
