UAB Karpis

UAB Karpis (the name derived from the Lithuanian male surname Karp avič i u s ) is a group of companies in Lithuania , established on April 5, 1991. Its headquarters are in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipėda . In 2016 the group achieved a turnover of 116.745 million euros. The subsidiaries based in Lithuania are UAB Marijampolės pieno konservai (dairy processing) with 600 employees (2019) in Marijampolė , UAB "Lukšių pieninė" ( dairy with 266 employees (2019) in Lukšiai in the Rajong municipality of Šakiai , founded in 1939), UAB "Ferogama" ( Logistics company based in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius ) and company "Vitaut" ( wood pellets ) in Ukraine . The group has an average of 1,000 employees (984 in 2015). The manager is Henrikas Karpavičius. Until August 2018, 100% of the shares belonged to his brother Raimondas Karpavičius (1958-2019).
