history
On December 31, 1977 Pieno konservų Kombatas began to work. In 1981, the milk processing plants in Virbalis , Lukšiai , Lazdijai , Jurbarkas , Prienai and Kalvarija were incorporated as combine branches. In Soviet Lithuania , the company was called Kapsuko pieno konservų Kombatas and employed 1000 people.
After the independence of Lithuania the company was privatized. The debt later reached 113 million litas (33 million euros) and the company went bankrupt. August 2001 the assets of AB Marijampolės pieno konservai were sold to UAB Eksimeta . She continued the production as UAB Marijampolės pieno konservai . In 2008 it achieved a turnover of 324.5 million litas .
The company was previously listed on the Vilnius Stock Exchange.
