The Langendreer Heimatstube is a museum in the Langendreer district of Bochum . It was opened in 1995 and is located in the basement of the old office building. The collection was founded by Friedhelm Vielstich and Heinz-Richard Gräfe. It includes over 1000 exhibits such as photos, documents, flags, uniforms and other exhibits about the historical development of the former communities and today's districts of Langendreer and Werne .

Two books were published about mining in old representations and the Harpener Bergbau AG .
