Neidenburger Heimatstube

The home parlor of the Neidenburg district community is a museum in the old administrative building of Werne (now part of Bochum ).

The subject of the exhibition is the history of the East Prussian district of Neidenburg . The exhibits are located in four rooms. We remember personalities born in Neidenburg such as the historian Ferdinand Gregorovius , the composer Walter Kollo , the railway construction entrepreneur Bethel Henry Strousberg and the painter Robert Budzinski . The photo collection comprises around 3000 images.

The inventory includes around 700 books and the Neidenburg circular sheets from 1892 to 1945.

Today Bochum is the sponsor city of the Neidenburg district community.
