Farmhouse Museum

The farmhouse museum of the city of Bochum is not far from the Haus Kemnade moated castle in Hattingen .

It is located in a four-column half-timbered house from the 18th century, the Stiepeler Meierei , which was rebuilt here in 1970 (Schulte zur Oven, originally Düsterstraße). The exhibits include farm equipment, furniture from the 16th and 18th centuries from Westphalia and the Bergisches Land . Beekeepers have also set up a bee museum here. There is a farmer's and herb garden in the outdoor area.
