The Telephone Museum in Bochum is run by the Friends of Telekom-Historik Bochum e. V. and is located on the Deutsche Telekom site at Karl-Lange-Strasse 17, where the Bochum telecommunications tower is also located.

The museum is open regularly every Tuesday or by appointment.

It illustrates the beginning of telecommunications, shows historical telephones , teleprinters , telephone systems , relevant tools and measuring devices, as well as a complete exchange with components from the years 1922 to 1955. This is functional. Visitors can make connections themselves and at the same time observe the function of the electromechanical voters.
