UCI women's road cycling calendar

The UCI road cycling calendar for women includes the international competitions recognized by the World Cycling Federation Union Cycliste Internationale .

In addition to the Olympic cycling competitions , UCI road world championships and continental championships held in national teams , these include the races of the UCI Women's WorldTour , the UCI ProSeries and the races of the first and second UCI categories . In these races, the top-placed female cyclists receive points for the UCI world rankings , to which are added the points scored in the national championships.

UCI Women's WorldTour

The UCI Women's WorldTour , which was held for the first time in the 2016 season, represents the first row of the international calendar alongside the championships. The UCI Women's WorldTeams , which are mandatory to be invited , the UCI Women's Continental Teams upon invitation and with the prior consent of the UCI, are entitled to participate Host country. UCI ProSeries

The UCI ProSeries , which will be held for the first time in the 2020 season, represents the second row of the international calendar. The competitions must be broadcast live for at least 45 minutes.

This is followed by the 1st category races. A maximum of five UCI Women's WorldTeams can be invited and there is no limit to the number of UCI Women's Continental Teams, national teams as well as regional and club teams. Highlights of the competitions must be shown for at least two minutes.

2. UCI category

Finally, the 2nd category follows, to which UCI Women's Continental Teams, national teams, regional and club teams as well as mixed teams can be invited.
