The UFA Factual GmbH was a transmitter independent television producer of reality formats, show, infotainment and factual entertainment. From 1995 to 2013 the company operated under the name UFA Entertainment GmbH . After that, the renamed UFA Factual GmbH became part of the UFA Show & Factual production division , which was formed into a separate company in 2015 through the merger with UFA Show GmbH .
UFA Factual belonged to the UFA Group in Germany and to FremantleMedia , one of the largest international producers of entertainment formats, worldwide . As part of the RTL Group, London-based FremantleMedia produces over 260 formats in more than 45 countries and has 23 offices around the world.
