UFA Show & Factual
UFA Show & Factual is a corporate unit of UFA . It has been a joint umbrella brand for the production companies UFA Show and UFA Factual since 2013 . Both production companies merged in 2015 to form UFA Show & Factual GmbH.
The broadcaster-independent company is responsible for the development and production of entertainment formats such as game shows, quiz shows and docutainment formats. It produces programs for the largest German broadcasters, including RTL, RTL II, Sat.1, Das Erste, ZDF and ProSieben. In addition to the headquarters in Cologne, the production company has production facilities in Berlin, Hamburg and Baden-Baden. She also produces in Cologne in the MMC Studios. Ute Biernat is the managing director.
The formats produced regularly reach several million viewers.
history
UFA Show & Factual was created in August 2013 as one of three new production areas of UFA, which was restructured in 2013. The two production companies UFA Show and UFA Factual initially belonged to it. As of July 1, 2014, the organizational structure at UFA Show & Factual was further simplified. The development work was reorganized. This should make contact between producers and broadcasters faster and more direct. In 2015 the two production companies merge.
