UHC Zug Highlands

The UHC Zuger Highlands (also: Sportvereinigung Menzingen-Ägeri ) is a Swiss floorball club . The seat of the UHC Zug Highlands is Unterägeri .

The activities focus on the Zug communities of Menzingen , Unterägeri , Oberägeri and Neuheim . The club has 15 teams, 12 of which are junior teams, over 200 members and a budget of CHF 70,000.

history

In March 1997 the Bahehe Flyers Menzingen and UHC Ägeri became the Zug Highlands. The two neighboring clubs decided to merge to get to the top at the national level. This succeeded in both men and women. As a highlight, the women's team was able to win the cup final in Bern in 2003.

In order to meet the sporting and financial demands also in the future, the national league A women and the national league B men were relocated to the Zug United umbrella club in spring 2006 .

activities

The association organizes various events in which its members actively participate. Examples include the Appenzell warehouse, the Prague Games, the Elite Cup and Rivella Games. The Zug Highlands even host international matches and World Cup tournaments.
