Swiss Cup (floorball)
The Swiss Cup is a unihockey cup for the professional and amateur leagues on the large field in Switzerland .
history
The Swiss Cup was introduced for men in 1985 and for women a year later. From 1988 to 1990 there was no cup competition in Switzerland, among other things because of the introduction of the Grossfeld-Nationalliga in 1989 as well as because of the integration of the SLHV -Unihockeysektion in the SUHV 1990. From 1991 the Swiss Cup for the men was carried out again on Grossfeld, while for the small field amateur leagues of the League Cup was introduced. In the case of women, the switch to a large field took place with the cup final in 1997, although a small field cup was not introduced for the time being; the league cup has only been held for women since 2008. The finals have all taken place in Bern since 2000, previously at different venues.
