USNH Beaufort

The United States Naval Hospital Beaufort is a military hospital of the United States Navy and is located in Beaufort in the US state of South Carolina . The military hospital is one of the few military hospitals that is not located within a military base, but rather manages its own location. The hospital base was put into operation on April 29, 1949.

It primarily supplies the two nearby USMC bases , the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island , the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and the residents of the military housing complex in Laurel Bay .
