Uberto Allucingoli

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Uberto Allucingoli (* in Lucca ; † 1185 ) was a cardinal of the Roman Church .

As the nephew of Pope Lucius III. he was appointed cardinal by this in December 1181, early 1182 or December 1182. Its Roman titular church was San Lorenzo in Damaso .

According to Elfriede Kartusch, Uberto Allucingoli is a fictional person who owes its existence to being mistaken for Uberto Crivelli from Milan, who was cardinal priest of S. Lorenzo in Damaso from 1182 to 1185 and then from 1185 to 1187 as Urban III. Was Pope.
