Ubicumque et semper

Ubicumque et semper ( dt . : everywhere and always ) is a motu proprio from Pope Benedict XVI. Drafted Apostolic Exhortation which establishes the canonical establishment of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization .

On June 29, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI. announced the establishment of this Pontifical Council and on June 30 this year Rino Fisichella was appointed its first President. The founding document describes the goals and competencies of the new dicastery and delimits it from the competences of other Curia authorities such as the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and the Pontifical Council for Culture .
