Vajapeya Uday Kiran ( Telugu : ఉదయకిరణ్ ; born June 26, 1980 in Andhra Pradesh , † January 6, 2014 in Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh) was an Indian film actor of the Telugu film .

Life

In 2000, the then 19-year-old starred in his first film, Chitram, directed by Teja . Around 18 other films followed before his death. In 2001 he received the Filmfare Award South for best actor in a Telugu film for his role in Tejas Nuvvu Nenu . He was nicknamed "Hattrick Hero" because he had three box office hits in one year. Uday Kiran also worked for Tamil film , in 2006 he played in Poi by K. Balachander and in 2008 in Vambu Sandai by director Raj Kapoor . In his career he was mainly committed to the roles of lovers and loverboys. He married his wife Vishita in 2012.

Uday Kiran committed suicide by hanging on January 6, 2014 .
