Udo Pini

Udo Pini (* 1941 ) is a German editor and author . He wrote for Zeitmagazin , FAZ-Magazin and Der Feinschmecker .

Career

Pini graduated from high school in 1960 at the Johanneum in Hamburg. After studying literature and theater studies, journalism and Slavic studies, he learned the journalistic trade. He has lived and worked as a journalist in Hamburg since 1968. In 1970 he was the founding editor of Zeitmagazin . In 1971 he and Peter Karl invented the riddle Thought Around the Corner . In 1980 he became the founding editor of FAZ magazine .

He has had his own editorial office in Hamburg since 1986 and has edited various publications, mainly on the topics of puzzles , Hamburg and cuisine . He continued to work as a puzzle specialist, for example for Stern and Die Woche .

In 2000 he published his 1000-page gourmet manual , for which he and his team had researched for eight years.
