The greatest national success of the club was winning the championship in 1979. In the cup final they stood three times, each losing just about. The association is sponsored by Uganda Commercial Bank from Kampala . After the draw, the club decided not to take part in the 1980 CAF Champions Cup. The opponents of the first round would have been the Bendel Insurance club from Benin City .
