Ugo La Rosa
Ugo La Rosa (born May 23, 1925 in Palermo ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker .
Life
In addition to his main activities as a journalist, theater director and publisher of books (since 1985; mostly through his home region), La Rosa has worked for cinema and television as a director of short documentaries. Between 1955 and 1992 he presented a considerable number on social, literary, artistic, archaeological and folkloric subjects. In 1967 he made a feature film: I zanzaroni , which in two episodes (one with the grotesque comedians Franco & Ciccio ) tells the story of the last puppeteer and his only spectator, as well as a satire on a rooster in a basket.
