Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014
The Ukraine is its contribution for the Junior Euro Song Contest 2014 Select on August 9, 2014 in the national final "Дітяче Євробачення національний відбір 2014" (Ditjatsche Jevrobatschennja natsional'nij vidbir 2014) in the city of Bukovel. 19 contributions will take part.
Multiple changes to the line-up
The list of participating entries was changed several times after the semi-finals. It was originally planned that 20 entries take part in the final. On July 8, 2014, the host TV station NTU announced that the song "Це Україна" (Tse Ukraina) by singer Поліна Рижак (Polina Ryzhak) had been disqualified for breaking the rules and was replaced by the group "Fresh". Ten days later, on July 18, 2014, it was announced that the group "Забава" (Zabava) will also not take part in the final and that the contribution will not be replaced by another contribution, so that only 19 contributions will participate.
