Ukrbibbank ( Ukrainian УкрСиббанк , Russian УкрСиббанк ; proper spelling UKRSIBBANK ) is a Ukrainian bank that was founded in 1990 and is one of the ten largest banks in Ukraine. On January 1, 2016 , the balance sheet total was 43 billion. The bank has a network of around 450 branches and 1,100 ATMs. UkrSibbank is one of the leading banks in Ukraine after the private bank , the state savings bank and the Ukreximbank .

history

The history of UkrSibbank begins in 1990. In 1992 the bank became part of the Ukrainian-Siberian corporation “UkrSibinkor” and was renamed “JSCIB UkrSibbank”. In 1996 the bank started opening branches in other regions and since 2000 it has been building a distribution network. As early as 2003, UkrSibbank placed itself in the top ten banks in Ukraine .

In April 2006, the BNP Paribas financial group became one of the Bank's strategic investors with a 51% stake. In 2009 the share was increased to 81.42% and in 2010 to 99.99%. The integration of the group companies UkrSibbank and BNP Paribas opened up new opportunities for the bank, such as participation in a global brand and the transition to new management standards. Since 2014, UkrSibbank has more than 2 million private customers.

On February 2, 2016, EBRD bought 25% of the shares in the bank BNP Paribas, so that the share of BNP Paribas in UkrSibbank decreased to 59.99% and the share of EBRD increased to 40%.
