MediaStudio Pro was video editing software from Ulead Systems , designed for both hobby and professional users .
Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8
The current version 8 of Ulead MediaStudio Pro had a new user interface , offers the ability to edit HDV ( High Definition Video ) material, and supports Dolby Digital 5.1 surround audio tracks with channel control. In addition, integrated tools such as the smart compositor (for title sequences and transitions) and smart proxy (for mobile real-time editing of HDV) were available to the user .
Version 8 was available in Germany from the end of October 2005.
According to the manufacturer, MediaStudio Pro 8 was not compatible with Windows Vista and an update was not planned.
The software was no longer developed after the takeover of Ulead by Corel in 2006, but there is a successor software, Corel VideoStudio .
