Corel VideoStudio (formerly Ulead VideoStudio ) is software from Corel Corporation. Originally developed by the Taiwanese company Ulead Systems , Corel Corporation took over the software with the acquisition of Ulead in 2006. As an entry-level product for the field of video editing , a wide range of tasks can be carried out with the help of wizards. The basic functions include video editing , the use of dissolves, video effects, text creation, audio background etc. The software supports many different video formats (including HD ), such as MPEG or AVI , but also audio and image formats. Corel VideoStudio also enables the creation of DVD menus ( DVD authoring ). Numerous templates are supplied for this. The newer versions also enable Blu-ray and 3D processing.
