Ulf Jørgensen (born October 24, 1956 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

After Jørgensen won the bronze medal on the normal hill at the Norwegian Championships in 1978, he started for the first time as part of the Four Hills Tournament 1978/79 at an international tournament. He achieved his best placement with a 21st place in the Oberstdorf opening competition . The following season he was in the squad of the Norwegians for the newly created Ski Jumping World Cup . The jumping for the Four Hills Tournament 1979/80 was as unsuccessful as the previous year. Only in the French Saint-Nizier could he win his first five World Cup points with 11th place. in Gstaad he even reached 8th place on the large hill. He finished his last World Cup competition on March 2nd, 1980 in Engelberg in 12th place. At the end of the season he was in 53rd place in the overall World Cup ranking. Shortly after the end of the World Cup season, he was able to win silver again on the large hill in Meldal at the Norwegian Championships in 1980 and then ended his active ski jumping career.
