Ulf von Hielmcrone
Ulf von Hielmcrone (born January 2, 1944 in Husum ) is a German lawyer, author and politician ( SPD ).
Life
Von Hielmcrone graduated from high school in Alfeld (Leine) in 1965 , studied law at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and passed the first state examination in 1971. He completed his training as a journalist and worked as a freelancer for Husumer Nachrichten . In 1972 he joined the SPD. In 1974 he received his doctorate with the dissertation The Representation of Justice in the Schleswig region . He then completed his legal clerkship, passed the second state examination and became a lawyer in Husum. In 1989 he was elected to the Husum city council and was mayor from 1990 to 1996. In 1996 von Hielmcrone was elected directly to the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein in the state constituency of Husum-Eiderstedt . He won the direct mandate again in the 2000 election and was a member of the state parliament until 2005. He was a member of the Agriculture Committee, the Pallas - committee and chairman of the Education Committee.
As chairman of the education committee, he suggested the digital recording of the old plenary hall and the storage of parts of the facility for a "House of History for Schleswig-Holstein". In addition, at his instigation, the contributions to the discussion at the committee's evening event on the topic of "House of History for Schleswig-Holstein" on September 3, 2003 were published as issue 5 of the state parliament's series of publications. Von Hielmcrone wrote the preface to this. From 2008 to 2013 he was 2nd Deputy Mayor of the City of Husum. Since 2013 he has been chairman of the environmental and planning committee of the city of Husum. He is a member of the Husum Masonic Lodge Zur Bruderliebe at the North Sea .
He publishes on various cultural-historical topics.
