Ulrich Enzensberger
Ulrich Meinrad Enzensberger (born December 2, 1944 in Wassertrüdingen ) is a German writer and translator . He is the brother of the writers Hans Magnus Enzensberger and Christian Enzensberger .
Enzensberger moved after high school, he at Melanchthon-Gymnasium in Nuremberg took off, according to West Berlin because he characterized the call-up to military service could escape. From 1967 to 1969 he lived in the Berlin Commune I , of which he was a co-founder. On April 5, 1967, he was arrested with other suspects for planning the pudding assassination attempt on US Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey . After Commune I had broken up into numerous splinter groups and Enzensberger was expelled from the university, he finished his German studies in Munich and became a member of the KPD / ML in the 1970s .
In 2009 Ulrich Enzensberger was town clerk for Rheinsberg . In 2010 he gave the funeral speech at Fritz Teufel's funeral .
Enzensberger was married to the actress and musician Marianne Enzensberger and lives as a freelance journalist and writer in Berlin.
