Ulrich Friedrich Mack

Ulrich Mack (* 1950 ) is a German Protestant theologian , pastor , hospital chaplain and author .

Life

Ulrich Friedrich Mack studied chemistry from 1972 to 1975. He then worked as a teaching assistant at the Aalen University of Applied Sciences and in industry. He studied theology from 1983 to 1990 before he did his doctorate in 2002 at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Bonn with his dissertation The meaning of shame in pastoral care: Shame - the night side of love . Until his retirement in 2015 he was a hospital chaplain, until 2009 at the Tübingen University Children's Clinic , then at the Center for Psychiatry Bad Schussenried .
