Ulrich II of Radefeld
Ulrich II. Von Radefeld († March 16, 1409, probably in Zeitz ) was bishop of Naumburg from 1394 to 1409 .
Ulrich II came from the Radefeldt family . The addition "von" does not denote a nobility predicate, but rather indicates the place of his origin (today: Leipzig, OT Radefeld, North Saxony). Ulrich was a close relative of the previous bishop Withego I of Ostrau . Ostrau, near Schkeuditz , became a desert . Ulrich II studied in Prague and became the cathedral dean of Magdeburg . He was buried in Naumburg Cathedral . His grave slab was still there in the 18th century, the text of the inscription has been handed down.
