Ulrich Popp

Ulrich Popp (born December 28, 1937 in Breslau , Silesia , German Reich ; † December 30, 2010 ) was a German stage and television actor.

Live and act

Born in Lower Silesia, he received his artistic training at Hanover University of Music and Theater and made his stage debut at the city theater in Bern, Switzerland, in the mid-1960s. Other theater stations were u. a. Frankfurt am Main, Bonn, Schwäbisch Hall and Munich (including the theater on Kurfürstenstrasse). At this time Popp was already working as a freelance artist. In addition to working for radio and as a dubbing actor, he also appeared sporadically in television films from 1968 on, without leaving any major traces with his small roles. Ulrich Popp only got a leading role in Wilhelm Semmelroth's crime film A Dead is to be Murdered in 1971.
