Ulrich von Ahelfingen (* 1278 ; † 1339 ) was a low nobility.

Gender of the Ahelfinger

The ancestral seat of the Ahelfinger family was probably Oberalfingen Castle. Ulrich von Ahelfingen, who was first mentioned in a document in 1317, was the builder of Wasseralfingen Castle (also known as Wasseralfingen Castle ).

1300 the knights of Ahelfingen are mentioned as owners of the Kocherburg . In 1317, Konrad von Ahelfingen and the Ellwangen Abbey exchanged his property in Unterkochen for Hoheneybach Castle .

Ulrich von Ahelfingen is buried in the "old monastery" of the St. Vitus basilica in Ellwangen . The Ritter Ulrich Strasse in Wasseralfingen was named after him.
