Ulrike Hörster-Philipps

Ulrike Hörster-Philipps (born July 27, 1949 in Duisburg ) is a German historian.

Hörster-Philipps studied history, Eastern European history and social sciences in Münster from 1968 to 1974. In 1980 she was awarded a PhD with a thesis on conservative politics in the late phase of the Weimar Republic. phil is doing his doctorate. She has been a lecturer at the University of Freiburg since the 1990s . There she completed her habilitation in 1995 with a biography of the politician Joseph Wirth . She is also the chairwoman of the Joseph Wirth Foundation, which is reminiscent of Wirth.
