Ulrike Leutheusser

Ulrike Leutheusser (* 1943 in Wittenberg, née Müller-Römer , formerly Emrich ) is a German journalist who headed the Science, Education and History program of Bavarian TV from 1991 to 2006 .

Life

Leutheusser studied history, geography and Latin in Cologne and Berlin. She worked for several years in the press department of the Max Planck Society in Munich. In 1991 she was appointed to Bayerischer Rundfunk, where she headed the newly created science, education and history program until she retired in 2006. In cooperation with the Bavarian Academy of Sciences (BAdW), around 50 television programs were produced about the BAdW.

Leutheusser is married and lives as a freelance journalist in Grünwald .
